McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — McPherson County Commissioners will continue budget presentations during Monday’s meeting, which begins at 9 at the Public Works Office at 1115 West Avenue A. To be presented are the proposed budgets for Public Works, Extension Service, Emergency Management and Communications, STEP MC, and the Sheriff’s Office.
Other items for the morning’s part of the meeting at 9 at the Public Works Office include two resolutions designating sections of roads in New Gottland Township as minimum maintenance, purchase of new computers for the Public Works office, and security cameras for the County building.
Work sessions involving Public Works and Planning and Zoning are set for 11:45 a.m., and at 1 p.m. there will be discussions on security at the Courthouse and County Building a presentation on a proposal to install an automated waiting system for the County Clerk and Treasurer’s offices when the move to the County Building next year.
