Think Pink Night to support Women and Children Combating Cancer at the McPherson High School Roundhouse. McPherson Bullpups host the Hays Indians. Cancer survivors will be recognized, and a drawing will be held for a Think Pink T-shirt Quilt. $5 per ticket or $20 for 5 tickets. Get your winning ticket via Venmo (Jen-Bonham-2), Contacting your favorite MHS Cheerleader, OR Purchase at the game (before the drawing) on Feb. 10th.

Wednesday, February 11

Early Release Movie – “Lilo & Stitch” (2025) – 3 p.m. at the McPherson Public Library – 214 West Marlin. Join us for this FREE movie in the Youth Programming Room! We’ll make the popcorn! All ages are welcome! Be sure to register by going to the McPherson Public Library website at macpl.libcal.com.

McPherson County Developmental Screen for Ages 0-5 Years. 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Moundridge Elementary School – 207 S. Drucilla Ave., Moundridge. For children up to 5 years old. Screenings are by appointment only and need to be scheduled 24 hours prior to the screening. To schedule an appointment for screening, please call 620-241-9400, Ext. 153.

Teach & Taste Class6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the McPherson County Extension Office – 600 W. Woodside. Bring your friends or come and make new friends while we make this month’s recipe – Monkey Bread! Karla Prickett, current Artist-in-Residence at the Red Barn Studio Museum in Lindsborg. Visitors to the Red Barn Studio will have the opportunity to witness the early stages of Prickett’s collage techniques, glimpse into her personal style of expression, and gain insight into her creative process. Valentine’s Day Special – Public Tram Tour is from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the Maxwell Wildlife Refuge, 2565 Pueblo Road, Canton. Bring your sweetie for a buy one – get one free! Board our covered tram for a 45-minute tour out on our Kansas prairie located in the heart of the Smoky Hills where you’ll experience an up-close and personal visit within our Bison herd. Tour guides are on board to provide information about Maxwell and the Kansas Prairie’s natural, cultural and historic resources.
