McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — The vision for Countryside RV, Boat and Self Storage began over a year ago when Tim and Jenny Cheatham purchased the property north of McPherson at 1638 16th Avenue, Tim told the crowd gathered for the new business’s Chamber Connection and Ribbon Cutting October 3rd.
The Cheathams chose to build Countryside on the outskirts of town to accommodate large storage needs like RVs and boats. The storage units sit just ¼ mile off Mohawk next to Krehbiel Meats and have easy access to town, multiple highways and the interstate.
Countryside currently has 14 fully enclosed 15’x50’ private bays as well as 20 covered structures. This is only phase 1 of Tim’s 8-phase vision for Countryside RV, Boat and Self Storage. The fenced-in property offers peace of mind with a security system which includes multiple cameras with 180-degree views, bright security lights, and keypad entrance and exit.
Tim, who also owns Tim Cheatham Construction, will move the facilities for that business out to the north side of the property next year. As lifelong residents of McPherson, he and Jenny enjoy the community and are proud to offer different services to those in it.
