GREAT BEND, Kan. —The City of Great Bend Public Lands Department is pleased to announce that the pump at the Splash Pad at Veterans Memorial Park has been successfully replaced. The splash pad will be open again starting today, July 18, 2024.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience; the splash pad is a new favorite summer activity, and the maintenance team has worked diligently to replace the pump and ensure it is fully operational and safe for use.
The splash pad operates daily from 11am – 8pm and is a free, fun and refreshing way to beat the summer heat. The City of Great Bend invites residents and visitors to enjoy the splash pad and the other amenities at Veterans Memorial Park.
