Feb. 20: Deadline to Register for Presidential Preference Primary and Other Important Election Dates

PAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. — Only registered Democratic and Republican parties will receive a ballot to participate in the PPP Election. If you are UNAFFILIATED, then you may declare a party at any time through the close of polls on election day to receive that party’s ballot.

If you wish to change your party and have NOT done so by Feb 20th then you will have to vote provisional.

Below are important dates for the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary and the 2024 Primary and General Elections.

 

2024 Presidential Preference Primary

 

Tuesday, February 20

Deadline to register to vote or update voter registration information to participate in the Presidential Preference Primary.

Last day to apply for an advance voting mail ballot.

 

Wednesday, February 28

First day of advance voting. Advance ballots by mail are transmitted.  

 

Monday, March 18

In-person advance voting ends at 12:00 p.m.

 

Tuesday, March 19

 

PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY

(All advance ballots by mail must be received by close of polls.)
