Chanute, KS – For the second week in a row the Neosho County Men’s team has sweapt both of the Player of the week awards for the KJCCC. Also for the second week in a row it was both Hazeldine and Bogan who came away with the honors. The men’s soccer team continues a stellar season not having lost a match all season and earning player of the week honors now in 4 straight weeks. COLBY, Kan. – For the second-straight week, Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week honors have been swept by Neosho County Community College players Keane Hazeldine and Josh Bogan.

Keane Hazeldine (Neosho County) – KJCCC D2 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Hazeldine had a four-point outing in a 3-1 road win at Pratt to start the week for Neosho County as the number five-ranked Panthers remained unbeaten with a win and a tie to improve to 10-0-3 this season. The freshman assisted on the game’s opening goal against Pratt just three minutes into the contest before scoring the eventual game-winner in the 43rd minute and assisting on Neosho County’s final goal in the 66th minute. Three days later, in a 2-2 tie against number 15 Johnson County, Hazeldine recorded eight shots and put four on goal as the Panthers settled for a 2-2 draw.

Josh Bogan (Neosho County) – KJCCC D2 Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Bogan helped keep number five-ranked Neosho County’s unbeaten record intact as the Panthers picked up a 3-1 win at Pratt before earning a 2-2 draw at number 15 Johnson County. Turning away 13 of 16 shots faced this week, Bogan played all 180 minutes in net and currently leads the KJCCC in saves (67), save percentage (.882), goals against (9), and goals-against average (0.70).
