Joining Bogan on this week earning player of the wek was Keane Hazeldine. This is also the 3rd straight week that Panthers have earned the KJCCC weekly individual awards. COLBY, Kan. – Staying unbeaten with wins over Allen Community College and the University of Arkansas Cossatot, the Neosho County Community College men’s soccer team was led last week by the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week award winners Keane Hazeldine and Josh Bogan.
Keane Hazeldine (Neosho County) – KJCCC D2 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Keane Hazeldine had a two-goal performance in a 5-1 win for number four-ranked Neosho County as the Panthers remained unbeaten with a pair of wins last week. After being limited to just one shot in a 1-0 win at Allen to start the week, Hazeldine turned four shots into a pair of goals against Arkansas Cossatot to close the week as NCCC improved to 9-0-2 this season.
Josh Bogan (Neosho County) – KJCCC D2 Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Bogan faced a barrage of 14 shots last week across two games, making 13 saves as number four-ranked Neosho County defeated Allen Community College by a score of 1-0 before winning 5-1 at home over Arkansas Cossatot. Bogan’s two wins in goal helped Neosho move to 9-0-2 as the sophomore currently leads the KJCCC in goals against average (0.55) and save percentage (.900). The save percentage leads all NJCAA Division 2 men’s soccer goalkeepers.
