hanute, KS – Neosho County Men’s Basketball delivered a dominating performance Tuesday night, rolling to a commanding 94–59 victory over Ottawa University. The win showcased the Panthers’ depth and defensive intensity, pushing their season record to 5–2.
Neosho County placed four players in double figures, with Cooper Weeks leading the way. The explosive big man poured in 19 points, setting the tone early with his physicality. Eriq Caraballo followed closely with 18 points.
Sophomore Raziel Taylor added 11 points, while Jayce Cooper delivered one of the most complete performances of the night—10 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals—impacting the game on both ends of the floor.
Defensively, the Panthers smothered Ottawa throughout the night, generating turnovers and turning them into fast-break opportunities. Offensively, their balanced attack kept the Braves off-balance, with Neosho County controlling the tempo from start to finish.
The Panthers now look ahead to a quick turnaround as they prepare to host Southwestern Community College on Saturday, November 15th at 3:00 p.m. Neosho County will aim to keep its momentum rolling as they continue their home stand for another non-conference test.
