Neosho Lady Panthers Drain 25 Threes in Record-Breaking 126-53 Win Over Highland

Highland, KS– The Panthers knocked down 25 three-pointers, setting a new program record for most made threes in a single game, in a dominant 126–53 victory over Highland at Ben Allen Field House.

From the opening possession, the Panthers set the tone. Chloe Parker opened the scoring from deep, Sophia Mireles followed, and the perimeter barrage never slowed. Neosho poured in 29 points in the first quarter and exploded for 46 in the second to take a commanding 75–22 halftime lead.

Neosho shot 54% from the floor and an electric 52% from three (25-48), turning defense into offense all afternoon. The Panthers forced 46 turnovers, scored 41 fast-break points, and got 74 points off the bench in a complete team effort.

Ta’Neah Jones controlled the glass with 4 rebounds and had 7 points, going 5-6 from the free throw line.  Divine Brown showed her presence by dropping 8 points.
Lelani Carter‘s pressure at the top of the press disrupted Highland all afternoon and helped fuel 56 points off turnovers.

Neosho never trailed, led by as many as 73, and controlled every statistical category from start to finish

Now 13–8 overall and 3–1 in KJCCC play, the Panthers will look to carry that momentum into their next matchup. Neosho County travels to Allen County on Monday, February 2, with tip-off set for 6:00 PM.
