LINN COUNTY, Kan. (December 22, 2025) 6:10 PM — It is with profound sadness that the Linn County Sheriff’s Office confirms that a juvenile who was previously reported missing has been found deceased.

Our community is mourning this heartbreaking loss. The family has been notified, and we respectfully ask that their privacy be honored as they grieve. Out of consideration for the family, no further details will be released at this time.

The investigation into this incident is being transitioned to an outside agency to ensure a thorough and independent review.

Information will be shared as the investigation continues and when it is appropriate to do so.

Linn County Authorities Searching for Missing Teen

LINN COUNTY, Kan. (December 22, 2025) 1:40 PM — The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile.

Airen Andula, a 13-year-old male, was last seen at approximately 8:00 a.m. in the Holiday Lakes community. Airen is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a red hoodie and black jeans and was riding a red mountain bike.

It is believed that Airen may have traveled toward or into the Pleasanton area.

Anyone with information regarding Airen’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Linn County Sheriff’s Office at 913-795-2665. Please do not attempt to detain the juvenile; instead, report any sightings or information immediately.
