IOLA, Kan. – Registration is open for the 2nd Annual Iola Mustang Alumni 5k/1mi. walk, held July 19.
The event is hosted by Iola High School Cross Country and is free to Iola High School alumni or to those who enjoy running. The run will take place July 19 at Riverside Park in Iola. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race will begin at 8 a.m.
The run is a fundraiser for Iola’s Cross Country team to help provide student athletes with warm ups and meals for the upcoming season. Registration is a free will donation to participate. Runners will also get a shirt and a finisher’s medal.
