IOLA, Kan. — Some water samples taken in the city of Iola have exceeded action levels for lead.
The city in a statement late this morning said more than ten percent of samples taken between June 1st and September 30th exceeded action levels for lead.
Corrective actions are currently being discussed by the city and Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
