Two area projects are among those awarded from the Kansas Department of Transportation’s June bid letting.
One project involves a $4.2 million bridge replacement on K-3 over the Little Osage River about two miles south of the Bourbon/Linn county line north of Bronson, awarded to Bridges Inc. of Newton.
The second project is a nearly $790,000 contract to Cooper Construction LLC of Emporia for signage along US 54, 59 and 169 in Allen, Anderson, Bourbon, Neosho and Woodson counties.
