IOLA, Kan. — Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola has announced the June 23rd TEFAP commodity distribution has been canceled.
These commodities are procured through the Kansas Department for Children and Families, and DCF has advised program sites they have not received the required federal administrative funds to cover the shipping expenses associated with June deliveries.
Without this funding, they are now able to complete scheduled food deliveries for June. Once funds are received shipments will be resumed.
