IOLA, Kan. — Friday is 620 Day in Iola, a day to honor and support small businesses and everything that makes the community unique.
The 620 ties both to the day and the area code covering the southern part of what some would call the real Kansas. Businesses on and off The Square will be offering exclusive discounts, deals and giveaways during the day.
From 11-1 G&W Foods will be sponsoring a free hot dog lunch in the pocket park between City Hall and the Iola Area Chamber of Commerce office on the north side of the square.
