Repairs are underway on a U.S. 75 bridge north of Yates Center in Woodson County, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Traffic is reduced to one lane on the bridge and guided by traffic signals as work progresses. A width restriction of 14 feet is in place for the duration of the project. Travelers can expect delays of no more than 15 minutes.

Repair work includes milling, patching and overlaying the bridge deck, as well as repairing an abutment and installing new drains. Work is expected to be completed by October.

The bridge over North Owl Creek is three miles north of U.S. 54. B&B Construction Company LLC, of St. Paul, has the $562,074.62 contract.
