IOLA, Kan. — Children in costume filled the Allen Community College Student Center Wednesday evening for Family Art Night, a free community event that welcomed families for an evening of arts and crafts, games, trick-or-treating, snacks, hot dogs and prizes.
The Halloween-themed celebration featured stations for painting, decorating, and hands-on crafts, with volunteers guiding children through creative activities. Trick-or-treating booths lined the venue, offering candy and treats. The free event also included hot dogs, chips and drinks for families.
Allen Community College continues to support community engagement through events like Family Art Night, which encourage creativity and connection among local families.
