The Hutchinson High girls scored just 19 second-half points Tuesday, and Maize was able to come back for a 49-46 win.
Danai Morgan scored 16 points for the Salthawks, but Maize cut off Morgan’s supply in the second half, holding her to six points including none in the fourth quarter.
The loss dropped the Salthawks 11-10. They will wrap up the regular season on Thursday against Andover at the Salthawk Activity Center.
