Kiser Has Big Night as Trinity Catholic Boys Top Central Christian Academy

Cameron Kiser scored 18 points, Alex Guajardo added 12, and the Trinity Catholic boys snapped a four-game losing streak by edging Wichita-Central Christian Academy 50-46 on Tuesday.

The first quarter was played at a breathtaking pace, with Central Christian Academy leading 23-18. The Lions hit five 3-pointers in the first quarter, including three from Jack Luckner, who matched Kiser’s 18 points.

The Celtics allowed just 23 points over the final three quarters.

The Celtics also had good nights from Lucas Griffith, who matched a career high with seven points, and Ian Rios, who also tied a career best with four points.

Trinity made eight 3-pointers in the game, including five from Kiser. Central Christian Academy countered with eight 3-pointers.

Trinity improved to 5-11 and will travel on Friday to Sedgwick.
