Cooper Wiens led three Inman players scoring in double figures, and the Teutons used a strong second quarter to gain separation in a 55-42 win Friday at Trinity Catholic.
After Trinity scored the first four points, Inman ended the first half on a 26-9 run. The Celtics had many good looks from the perimeter but struggled to make many shots until the fourth quarter.
Kru Harris added 14 points, and Malachi Brunk scored 12 for Inmanm, which improved to 10-10 and clinched a first-round home game in the Class 2A Berean Academy substate.
Lawson Dowsey led the Celtics with 11 points, while Alex Guajardo and Cameron Kiser added seven points.
Trinity falls to 7-14 and will travel next Friday to Stanton County for substate play.
