Balanced Scoring Leads Inman Girls to Road Win at Trinity Catholic

Morgan Froese and Kenna Woods scored 13 points apiece Friday, and Ellie Thimmesch added 11, as the Inman girls basketball team earned its 14th win of the season by beating Trinity Catholic 64-12.

Inman got its offense going in the second quarter. Leading 12-2, the Teutons used their defense to force turnovers, which led to several points in transition. Inman outscored Trinity 28-2 in the second quarter and led 40-4 at halftime.

The Teutons improved to 14-6 and will host Marion in the first round of the Class 2A Berean Academy substate on Thursday.

Eilley Cost scored four points, leading Trinity Catholic, which will travel to Ellinwood for the first round of the Class 2A Smith Center substate on Thursday.
