Congratulations to Ad Astra Radio’s Athlete of the Week, Anika Paulsrud with Buhler Girls Golf.
The week – Paulsrud claimed first place at the City of Hutchinson 2025 Junior Championships on Aug. 8 at Carey Park. Paulsrud won the girls 14-and-over division by carding an 8-over-par 79, winning her division by eight strokes.
The season – Paulsrud will be a sophomore at Trinity Catholic and plays basketball for the Celtics, but she plays golf for Buhler since Trinity doesn’t have girls golf. She had a strong freshman year on the links, finishing ninth at the Class 4A state tournament at Hesston Golf Course, finishing the two-round championship with a 163.
