RENO COUNTY, Kan. — Nickerson-South Hutchinson USD 309 is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education from the Reno Valley area of the district.
This vacancy was created by the resignation earlier this month of Jane Gamber. The person appointed will fill out the remainder of Gamber’s term which runs through Jan. 10, 2026.
Persons interested in filling the vacancy, who must be a qualified voter residing in the Position 3 district, can fill out a candidate questionnaire which can be obtained by contacting Gayle Damato at 620-663-7141 or emailing [email protected].
Applications are due by Friday, and candidates will be interviewed by the Board at their Sept. 9 meeting.
