HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The TECH Board of Directors is pleased to inform the communities of Reno County that significant progress has been made in our search for a new Chief Executive Officer. The search committee has diligently reviewed numerous candidates and has now narrowed the field to two exceptional individuals. Both candidates have been invited for second interviews and tours of the facilities beginning the third week in July.
The staff at TECH are excited about the potential each candidate brings to the future of the company and is anticipating making a final announcement regarding the new CEO in early August. The community’s patience and support during this period of transition is truly appreciated.
As TECH continues to move forward, the staff remains committed to their Mission and the people they serve. Over the past 51 years, TECH has stood as a pillar of support in Reno County, and it will maintain this strength and dedication through the transitional phase.
To ensure a smooth transition, TECH is pleased to announce that former TECH CEO, Brenda Maxey, will serve as Interim CEO beginning July 30. This will provide an opportunity for her and outgoing CEO, Kevin Hess, to work together and ensure continuity and stability in our operations. Brenda brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a strong willingness to assist TECH during this important time.
Staff would like to thank Kevin Hess for his dedicated service and leadership, and they are confident in Brenda Maxey’s ability to successfully guide TECH during this period of transition.
