BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler Community Foundation is currently accepting project proposals for the 2024 Buhler Grant Cycle.
The Buhler CF awards grants to programs each year that demonstrate innovative ideas or critical needs, ranging from health and human services, to arts, parks and nature.
According to the Foundation, grant awards have typically ranged from $300 to $5,000. The average award is around $2,500. They will consider larger requests for collaborations, innovations and if an organization’s proposal provides efforts involving environmental change.
Guidelines (Brief Overview)
- Projects must fall within the USD 313 boundaries.
- Proposals must come from organizations that are exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) and serve Buhler.
- Special purpose units of government may apply for support of innovative projects.
- Grant proposals from individuals or non-qualifying organizations will not be considered.
To apply, submit your proposal online through the Foundation Grant Lifecycle Management system (GLM). If you are a first-time GLM user, you will need to create a login before beginning the application to the Fund for Buhler.
The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15.
