Lindsborg’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration is free and open to the public. Festivities begin with a patriotic parade. All ages are invited to meet at the gazebo in Swensson Park on the 400 block of North Main Street at 5:00 PM to decorate strollers, wagons, bikes, or yourself, then march through the park. Concessions start at 5:00 PM. Entertainment starts at 6:00 PM in the bandshell and includes several local and regional performers, from twirlers to dancers to musicians. Finally, the Lindsborg Community Band plays, ending festivities by 8:30 PM. While there is limited bleacher seating available, you’re encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
