Courthouse Square, Downtown Great Bend, Kansas
1400 Main St, Great Bend, KS 67530-4037
Whether you’ve celebrated recovery, lost someone you love, supported a friend through mental health challenges, work in behavioral health, or simply believe our community is stronger when we care for one another—HopeFest is a place where everyone belongs.
Throughout the day, downtown Great Bend will come alive with opportunities to connect, laugh, learn, remember, and celebrate. You’ll experience interactive activities for all ages, live entertainment, local artists, food trucks, community organizations, wellness experiences, family-friendly fun, and meaningful conversations that remind us we’re never alone.
Our day begins with a peaceful Sunrise Remembrance Ceremony, honoring the lives we’ve lost to suicide, addiction, and mental illness. Together, we’ll read the names of loved ones submitted by the community and build a living flower arrangement—one bloom at a time—as a symbol that every life leaves a lasting impact.
From there, HopeFest shifts into a day of celebration, resilience, and connection.
