Lindsborg, Kan. (BethanySwedes.com) – Michael Young has earned KCAC weekly honors as he was named KCAC Offensive Player of the Week. Young was selected for his perfomance on Saturday night against Tabor College.
Saying Young, a freshman from Mansfield, Texas, played a huge part in the Swedes’ victory would be an understatement. Young tallied three scores on the evening. The first score was a 41-yard reception to tie the game, the second was a 99-yard score where Young outraced the defenders on the way to the endzone, and the third was ultimately the coup de grace as Young hauled in a 21-yard throw to put it out of reach.
