LINDSBORG, KAN. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Swedes Women’s Soccer Team returned to the field to face the York University Panthers after a brief stint of forfeited games.
The Swedes have had a rough couple of weeks having to forfeit four games due to injury, illness, and other difficulties. In their return to the pitch, the Swedes would fall to the Panthers 8-0 while failing to get a shot up.
Mackenzie Nutter drew the start in goal for Bethany, but in the 35th minute, she would sub into the field. Ekko Hopkins replaced Nutter in goal and finished the game with 10 saves over 56 minutes of play.
