LINDSBORG, Kan. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Swedes Women’s Soccer team played host to the No. 7-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles in what would be the Swedes’ home finale.
Bethany played a strong first half as Ekko Hopkins made a few tremendous saves to hold the Eagles to no goals scored until the 41st minute. OKWU would end up netting two goals before halftime.
The second half did not go as well for the Swedes as the Eagles would tack on eight more goals for a final score of 10-0.

The Swedes will finish their regular season schedule on the road with a two-game road trip. First up will be the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM in Salina, Kan. on Wednesday, October 30.
Following that, Bethany will travel to Wichita, Kan. for a season finale against the Friends University Falcons. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 2.
