HUTCHINSON, Kan. (BlueDragonSports.com) – Ranked No. 18 in the latest NJCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Rankings, the Hutchinson Community College women tied a program record for consecutive weeks in the poll.
Now ranked in 15 consecutive polls dating back to the 2023 preseason rankings, the Blue Dragons tie the 2009 and 2010 teams when they were ranked in 15-straight polls.

The Blue Dragons went 1-1 last week, falling to No. 14 Cowley 3-0, but earned a KJCCC road win at Garden City 1-0. Hutchinson is now 5-2-3 overall and 4-2-3 in the KJCCC, which is fourth place in the lead.
The Blue Dragons play host to Seward County at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Salthawk Soccer Complex and travels to Dodge City on Saturday.
The KJCCC remains well represented in this week’s national rankings. Butler (8-0-3) remains No. 6. Kansas City (8-0-3) moves up one spot to No. 9. Cowley (5-2-1) jumps two spots to No. 12 and the Blue Dragons dropped one spot to No. 18
The top eight teams from last week all remained where they were. Navarro was No. 1 for the second-straight week with all nine first-place votes. Iowa Western is second, followed by Seminole State, Tyler and Arizona Western.
