OKLAHOMA CITY (CCCTigers.com) – Last week the Central Tiger Women’s Basketball team traveled to Oklahoma to take on the Nationally Ranked Langston University Lions, and Oklahoma City University Stars. Both games had similarities as the Tigers Started strong, but fell behind late to drop both Sooner Athletic Contests.
Central Christian Tigers 33, Langston University Lions 85
Despite a strong start in the first quarter, the Central Christian Tigers were unable to keep up with the 19th-ranked Langston University Lions, who dominated the game with their shooting and overall performance.

This strong shooting performance by the Lions led them to build a substantial lead, and they never looked back.

The Central Christian Tigers battled hard but ultimately fell to the Oklahoma City University Stars in a game that saw a strong first half before the Tigers ran out of steam in the second half.

- Chloe Clevenger had an impressive first half, scoring 9 points and collecting 4 steals, while Shamaya Brown came off the bench to score all of her 6 points in the first half, helping the Tigers stay within striking distance.
- However, the second half saw the Tigers struggle to maintain their pace with the Stars. They were outscored 41-17 as the Stars took control of the game.
