LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) – The Bulldogs were unable to right the ship as they fell to the University of Saint Mary Spires in their final game of a three game road trip on Saturday (Dec. 7) 82-46 as they dropped to 0-11 on the year.
It was an incredible performance by the Spires’ Addison Schletzbaum as she scored a game high 30 points and shot a perfect 12-12 from the field to lead Saint Mary to the victory. The Bulldogs were unable to generate significant offense to compete with the 49% field goal percentage Saint Mary ended the game with as MC shot just 30% from the field and only 11% from behind the three point line.
Gillian Rodgers led the way for the Bulldogs with 11 points to pair with six rebounds while Lauren Young provided a strong spark off the bench with seven points and four rebounds.
McPherson returns to the friendly confines of Holman Fieldhouse for the first time since November as they play host to Bethany College on Wednesday, December 11. Tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
