HILLSBORO, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) – The Bulldogs were unable to claim their first win of the new season as they fell to the Tabor College BlueJays on Wednesday (Dec. 4) 86-60 inside the Tabor College Gymnasium.
McPherson was able to jump out an early three point lead in the first quarter, but Tabor responded quickly and took complete command of the contest for the rest of its duration. The BlueJays stayed in front the rest of the contest, building their lead to as much as 35 points in the 4th quarter as they finished out shooting 42% from the field while holding the Bulldogs to just 30% from the field in the game.
Kennedy Smith led the way for MC with 12 points and three rebounds. Jayla Moore also chipped in a strong effort with nine points and three rebounds.
MC caps off their three game road trip on Saturday, December 7 as they head to Leavenworth to take on Saint Mary. Tipoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
