SPRINGDALE, AR – The Wichita Wind Surge were propelled by a solid performance on the mound in a ball game that was cut short by weather after the fifth inning. Isaac Mattson and Reggie Grace combined to give up only two hits and allow one run in the 2-1 victory over the Naturals. The Wind Surge lead the road series two games to none.

The Wind Surge got on the board in the top of the second when Dalton Shuffield hit a 417 foot two-run home run over the center field wall.

The rain started to come down in the bottom of the fifth inning and the Naturals started to rally. They loaded the bases and got a run in off a sacrifice fly hit by Tyler Tolbert but could not erase the deficit entirely before the inning ended.
