WICHITA, Kan. – The Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches (KABC) announced that the All-Star game, comprised of All-State honorees from area high schools, will still be be played. However, it will be played two hours later than originally scheduled, moving from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The association took to social media Tuesday evening announcing the brief postponement of the game due to heavy rainfall and a torn tarp at Equity Bank Park, hinting at a possibility of the game would proceed. They posted again Wednesday morning confirming that it will still be played.
The gates at Equity Bank Park will now open at 2:15 p.m.
