STERLING, Kan. (SCWarriors.com) – The SC Warrior men’s soccer team dominated on the field during Wednesday’s game against the Ecclesia Royals. Marcelo Fuentes showed the Royals exactly why he was the starting goalie with a near clean sheet performance.

Within the first 5 minutes of the game, Sterling’s forward, Lawm Sangzuala scored his first goal for the season and the very first goal of the game giving the Warriors an early head start to this match. After a few more attempts, the Warriors were able to make their shot fall, making the score 4-0. The shot was made by Jonathan Torres, another 1st goal of the season. Around 20 minutes later Stone scored his second goal and the Warriors’ last goal of that match. So close to a shutout, Baraka Odenyo scored with just over a minute to play, creating a final match score of 5-1.
