ANDALE, Kan. – The Smoky Valley Vikings got a first hand account of the dominance of the Andale Indians in 2025. Smoky Valley fumbled on their second play from scrimmage and two plays later, the Indians were in the end zone for the first of ten times on their way to a 68-0 win.
Andale took a 33-0 lead after one quarter as Jack Horsch started the game with a nine-yard touchdown run. Indians quarterback Sam Harp had a hand in the next four touchdowns to end the first quarter as he had runs of one, two and 11 yards for scores and added a 45-yard touchdown pass to Noah Stanley.
Andale added three more scores in the second quarter on touchdown runs by Jrayton Dansel (11 yards), Lane Parthemer (22 yards) and Horsch (2 yards), taking a 54-0 lead at halftime. With a running clock in the second half, the Indians scored once in each quarter as backup quarterback Brayden Spexarth had a one-yard touchdown run in the third and Aiden Allaire went for a 58-yard score in the final quarter.
Andale had 377 yards of total offense with 263 on the ground and 114 through the air. Harp completed all five of his pass attempts for all 114 yards. Allaire finished with the most rushing yards on the 58-yard touchdown run. Smoky Valley was held to just 60 yards of total offense on the night.
Andale, ranked #1 in 3A, moved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in 3A District 6, extending their home winning streak to 84 games. Smoky Valley fell to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in the district. They are back on the field this Friday against Nickerson for a chance to make the 3A playoff bracket.
