McPHERSON, Kan. – McPherson High School Softball swept the Mulvane Wildcats Monday, April 29, wrapping up AVCTL D3 play. They finish as undefeated league champs, finishing 10-0 in divisional play for the third straight season.
GAME ONE:
McPherson – 5, Mulvane – 0
Carmin Pavlovich threw a complete-game shutout in game one, throwing all 7 innings, allowing two hits and striking out 7 batters. Offensively, the Bullpups just led 2-0 after 6 innings, but three key insurance runs in the 7th gave the Pups a 5-0 lead, which became the final score.

GAME TWO
McPherson – 14, Mulvane – 5
19 hits, 14 runs, 12 RBI and multiple extra-base hits gave the Bullpups a lot of cushion against a Mulvane team trying to avenge the game one loss. Addie Herrera threw a complete game as well, allowing 3 earned runs and striking out four batters.
