Tigers Men’s Basketball Stay in Hunt after Win at College of the Ozarks

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. (CCCTigers.com) – The Tiger Men’s Basketball team found themselves back in the win column on Saturday with their dominant 97-85 win over College of the Ozarks. This game also vaulted the Tigers into seventh place in the conference standings.

The game began on a high note for the Tigers, leading by nine points at halftime with the scoreboard reading 48-39. This early lead set the tone for Central Christian, who maintained their dominance through the remainder of the contest. Key performances came from Chris Whitten, who scored a game-high 29 points, Jaeden Whitten with 21 points and 3 steals, and Jevarrick Butler who added 22 points and 5 rebounds to the victorious effort.

In addition to the high scorers, Andre Shelby made significant contributions with 10 rebounds and 1 block, proving instrumental in both defense and offense for the team.
