Three Reno County Sabres Teams Capture Championships at KCBA Tournament

Three Reno County Sabres teams captured championships at the Kansas Christian Basketball Association Tournament Friday and Saturday.

The tournament games were played at Salina Fieldhouse, Lakewood Middle School and Salina South Middle School.

The Reno County Sabres defeated Smoky Valley Home Educators in the Division I varsity boys championship game, the Sabres defeated SVHE in the junior varsity boys game and Reno County defeated Newton in the junior high school girls title game.

Reno County lost to Christ Prep in the DI varsity girls championship game.
