Tennis Bluejays Fall Short at ITA Central-West Regionals, Set Sights on Next Challenge

SALINA, Kan. (TaborBluejays.com) — The tennis team continued its fall season at the 2024 ITA NAIA Men’s and Women’s Central-West Regional Championships, hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.

The Bluejays sent a select group of participants to the tournament.

In doubles play, Ko Osuga and Stephano Raul Chan lost in the men’s open doubles bracket to a pair from McPherson College. Osuga and Chan also competed in singles matches, where they fell to their respective opponents, also from McPherson College.

On the women’s side, Fiorella Villa participated in the women’s open singles bracket, where she was defeated by her opponent from Bethel College.

The Bluejays will return to action on Oct. 4 at the Bronco Invitational in Hastings, Nebraska.
