Ten Bullpup Boys Soccer Athletes Named All-League Honorees

McPHERSON, Kan. – Ten McPherson High School Boys Soccer players were named All-AVCTL Div. 3-4 honorees for the 2025 season, voted by the league’s coaches. Four players were named to the First Team, three to the Second Team, and three were named Honorable Mentions.

Senior forward Manny Morales, who had a team-high 22 goals and tied the team high with 10 assists, was named a First Team All-League honoree for the second year in a row. Sophomore midfielder Yahir Valadez was also a First Team honoree, finishing the season with 12 goals and 10 assists.

Senior goalkeeper Gabe Standfast also earned First Team honors, saving 158 shots and allowing only 26 goals. Defender Grayson Broadus was the fourth Bullpup named to the First Team, ending his junior season with five assists.

Second Team honorees include sophomore midfielder Jackson Martin, junior defender Mason Eisenbarth, and junior forward Ben Bocox. The Honorable Mentions were senior midfielder Beckett Schuckman, senior defender Daniel Bowen, and freshman forward Parker Riemann.

McPherson’s 2025 season saw them advance all the way to the 4-1A State Quarterfinals, ending with a 10-9-0 record. Their loss in the quarterfinals was just their third against a 4-1A team.

Rose Hill’s Brady Leibl was named the League MVP, and their head coach, Jerry Treat, was named the All-League Coach of the Year. The Rockets, who defeated McPherson in the regular season and in the State Quarterfinals, won the 4-1A State Title, defeating Baldwin 3-1 in the championship match in Wichita on Saturday, Nov. 8.
