WICHITA, Kan. (TaborBluejays.com) – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) announced their selection for the first KCAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week award of the 2024-25 season on Monday afternoon.
Miyah McGee was named as this week’s KCAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week after her performance in last week’s season-opener on the road at John Brown University.
McGee was a defensive force against the Eagles, grabbing four defensive boards and snagging four steals, leading the Lady Bluejays’ defensive efforts and helping hold JBU to 67 points.
This marks the first time this season that McGee has received this award.
McGee and the Lady Bluejays are back in action Tuesday evening as they welcome Grand View University to Hillsboro and Tabor College Gymnasium for the 2024-25 home opener. The game will be broadcast live on Tabor Webcast and the KCAC Network. Live stats will also be available.
