KEARNEY, Neb. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Wrestling team traveled to Kearney, Nebraska to compete at the Younes Hospitality Open against various institutions over the weekend.
While the Swedes would come up short in many matches, Eric Torres-Cortez stood out on the evening by beating Kamden Wise from Barton Community College in the second round of the championship phase. Regardless of the collective results, the Swedes still competed well against formidable opponents.
