LINDSBORG, Kan. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Swedes Football team played host to the McPherson College Bulldogs in a cross-county rivalry within the Kessinger Division.
Not much went in favor of the Swedes outside of a 9-play, 56-yard drive that resulted in a 14-yard Malaki Daniels touchdown run in the first quarter to put the Swedes on the board. Bethany would ultimately fall 59-7.
Dalton Whitworth drew the start for the Swedes, but Trapper Enzor would have the better night throwing for 154 yards with a completion percentage of 52.2%. The ground game was led by Malaki Daniels with 26-yards. Five different Swedes would record a run of north of 10 yards. Ryker Grossner would lead the receiving corps with six catches for 45 yards.
On defense, Terry McCutcheon would have a pretty good day totaling 9 tackles including one for loss. Kamorion Carter and Anthony Harris would team up for the lone sack of the day.

The Swedes have a tall task ahead of them as their next game is against another team receiving national attention, the Southwestern College Moundbuilders. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 2 in Winfield Kan.
