KANSAS CITY, Mo. (SCWarriors.com) – Adrian Parsons of MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) is the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week, Blaine Shaw of Eastern Oregon has been named the NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week and Jakobi Spence of Sterling (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from October 28 – November 3 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Mondays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Adrian Parsons, MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) – SR – Quarterback
- Threw for 374 yards and five touchdowns in a 48-47 win over No. 7 Benedictine (Kan.).
- Completed 26-of-40 passes.
- Had two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter – one when trailing and another when tied in the final minute.
NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Blaine Shaw, Eastern Oregon – SR – Defensive Back
- Registered 19 tackles in a 30-24 win over No. 24 College of Idaho.
- Recovered two fumbles, one of which sealed the game with less than a minute to play.
- Had 2.0 tackles for a loss.
NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Jakobi Spence, Sterling (Kan.) – FR – Defensive Back
- Blocked a PAT early in the game and later blocked a potential game-winning field goal with 10 seconds remaining, persevering the 26-25 win over Saint Mary (Kan.)
- Record nine total tackles.
- Also intercepted a pass and broke up two other passes.
