GREAT BEND, Kan. (BartonSports.com) – A seventeen point differential in turnovers told most of the story from the Barton Gym Saturday night as the top ranked Barton Community College men’s basketball team had its 35-game win streak snapped 74-71 to Cowley College.
The contest featured seven ties and 11 lead changes, the last leaving Cowley on top for the final 4:35 with the Cougars’ 18th turnover providing the final back breaker with twenty-six seconds remaining resulting in a costly point swing.
