WICHITA, Kan. (SCWarriors.com) — Daniel Stone of Sterling College and Caden Miller of Friends University have earned this week’s KCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Sept. 2-8 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Offensive Player of the Week
Daniel Stone – Sterling College
Jr. | MF | Porac, Philippines
Stone had the most productive offensive week of his career this week. In the 5-1 win over Ecclesia, he matched his career total in goals scored, and then followed it up with another goal to end the week. Stone now has five career goals, three that happened this week.

Defensive Player of the Week
Caden Miller – Friends University

Miller was a crucial part of a Friends University defense that pulled out a 1-1 tie with the (RV) John Brown University Golden Eagles on Saturday (Sept. 7). After falling behind 1-0 in the 10th minute, Miller and Falcons held JBU scoreless for over 80 minutes to come away with the draw.
