The Sterling High School girls tennis team placed first at the Chaparral Invitational Saturday in Anthony and swept first place in all four divisions.
The tournament took place on the Anthony Tennis Courts.
The Black Bears went 16-0. Chelsie Brown captured No. 1 singles with a 4-0 record and Natalie Williams won No. 2 singles with a 4-0 record.
The No. 1 doubles team of Jaiden Jaeger and Danika Zimmerman placed first at 4-0. The tandem of Emma Kelso and Kate McGlynn went 4-0 in winning No. 2 doubles.
South Barber’s Lily Dunham placed second in No. 2 singles.
